Night Golf?

Last night was a slow round. So were were fighting the dark for the last 3 holes. Which is a shame because I was -1 going into 17. When we teed off on the par 3 17th (Moors) we could barely see the flight path. But since it’s a par 3 we easily found our… Read More »

Summer projects

Finished the cupboards, finished the basement entertainment system. Now hoping to finish the kitchen floor. Outside, looking to fix some foundation work, the porch posts and paint the garage doors, reshingle the shed and gazebo and some day pull up the interlocking brick. Never, ever get interlocking brick!

Funnel Clouds over Waterloo

I witnessed my first funnel cloud yesterday while golfing at Conestoga. While it was serene and sunny on the course, as I looked up from finishing my putt on #1 Moors I saw the funnel cloud. Mac initially thought it was a contrail from a jet but after looking at it a few minutes and… Read More »

driest summer I’ve golfed in a long time

Well worth seeing in the theather. Great effects and excellent sound. Good choice for something I rarely do these days. Made it worth… Read More »

The production was impressive with the huge video backdrop that was put to excellent use during the concert. Some wonderful macabre scenes from the Dali… Read More »

Robins? Spring?

I heard my first Robins of spring, but I wasn’t able to spot them. I’m going back outside to spot them. It would mean everything to me.

Stage 2

We’ve entered the next phase of music. It’s all about dancing for OG. And it’s all about Come On Feel The Noise! Quiet Riot is the bomb in our household!!!!

Team Composing

I have asked Olivia if I can transpose her song she’s been playing on the piano onto sheet music. It’s a melody she’s been playing for quite some time that seems somewhat random but has a consistent feel about it. She is excited about the opportunity. Quickly, my well thought-out plan was thrown away. It… Read More »
