This week, Olivia spent the entire week at sleepover camp Ki-Wa-Y. This is the first time at age 12! In addition, Christien went to day camp there and took advantage of the Thursday night sleepover after the campfire and song/skit presentations.
The weather held up and I’m excited to hear about what their experiences were like when the come home over the next couple of days.
This summer is going to be the summer of growing up for these two kids. With the camps and the big Europe trip coming up. It couldn’t happen at a better time as Olivia is off to fulltime enrichment class at a different school leaving both of them on their own. It’s a bittersweet situation but we can only treat this as an opportunity for both our kids to grow.
