I’m in Vegas for a conference. Like a kid in a candy store? Not. At this point in my life…I’m tired, jet-lagged, etc. etc. Some cool things that have happened…
I saw the Cake Boss guy do a show at the Venetian….where I’m staying….the rooms are blasphemous.
I rarely play blackjack but I decided to play today….I was up $100 until I had double 8’s with the dealer on 6. My bet was $50. I split for another $50…got another 8…another $50…got another 8….another $50. All 4 of my 8’s played well… Dealer shows a 10 + 6….draws a 5. That deal transformed a $400 rake to a $200 loss….Needless to say, I’m hitting the poker tables tomorrow and prey upon the weak….no more blackjack….ever. Silly game.
