Crushed in the semis

So, it really was the worst case scenario. I was crushed 91-29 and it was evidently over even before the 1st half of the 1st games.

He had a WR that alone scored 24 pts. 91 is a good score, but beatable. I lost via the perfect storm.

My DST was up against the lowly, lowly KC Chiefs. The Packers are trying to go perfect and coming in hot on defense. Bam! -4 points. That was a crushing, unexpected blow.

My QB (for which I traded for and gave up a huge part of my future) also coming in hot and desperate to make the real playoffs. 1 point! Since I’ve owned him he’s been averaging 18 pts.

Last week those two combined for 39 points. Yesterday: -3.

But the true reason I lost is that I finally succumbed to injury. I’ve been without my #1 stud RB since week 6 and been able to squeak by. With him I went 5-1, without him I went 4-5. And when my other #1RB went down 3 wks ago I knew it would take a miracle.

So I’m not surprised and I can safely say there is nothing I could have done to beat my opponent this week. No substitution or waiver combination would have made any difference. This is the 1st time I’ve no what-if scenarios that I’ve regretted thinking about but not doing.
