Cargill cow population add 1

My friend Jason (aka Biff) works for a high-tech firm.  However, he has a secondary hobby that feeds his grassroots:  farmin’.  Yes, he is a part farmer, part computer jockey.

Old Biff MacDonald is beginning to realize his long-term goal of raising enough cattle and building a network of solar windmills so that he is not dependant on Middle East oil or Canadian beef, just like the USA!  He is achieving his goals in a more passive manner however.  Good for you G.W. Biff!  Maybe you should be offering courses in responsible foreign policy.

I’m not sure how the windmill thing is going, or if he’s even thought of it yet, but his little cattle ranch is starting to reap rewards.  I believe he has already gone through his first set of calves last year.  He is on his second set now.  He expects 15 calves to be born on his farm.  Here is the 1st of the clan that will pop up over the next coupe of months.  This little lass will have a lot of youngsters looking up to her in the near future:

“Don’t worry about the duct tape on the calve’s head” says Biff.  He says it’s for some de-horning thing but I think he’s taken the “you can use duct tape for anything” mantra a bit too far.  Besides, it’s tin-foil you use to prevent the aliens from mind-reading, not duct tape.  Duh.

Keep on truckin’ Biff!  Can’t wait to be served this cute little thing medium-rare, dusted with peppercorn sauce and some garlic mashed potatoes on the side!
