Excuse me while I shake my head. You miss the point of playing and you always say people are harder on themselves than they need to be. The socializing is a big part of it and yes, beer fund is difficult when rushing home for bedtime, but there is socializing going on during the game. It's fun to be out there and a game is not won or lost on one person. Next year it is likely that OG will happily play in the dugout and squeal with excitement instead of fear as the train roars by. You hit it, you're not in the pros. I can count the number of errors you made this season on one hand; which is more than I can say for myself but damn it, I love to play so I will keep coming back. If you choose not to play because you can't play the way you did when you were "younger" you are going to hit a mid life crisis a lot sooner than most and then what? You love sports; why punish yourself when noone else sees you as a detriment to the team. You said it, we have 5 months of crap weather, enjoy the summer. Of course, if you don't play then I get to play every game which is okay too.
